Masks In Healthcare Settings Has Ended

In line with new national guidance, the universal requirement to wear masks in healthcare settings has ended.

This will apply at all of our surgery sites with some exceptions, currently:

  • Patients and visitors required to attend the surgery with respiratory or Covid type symptoms must continue to wear masks
  • Masks will still be required if there is a known Covid-19 outbreak in the local area or within the surgery- we will make this clear to our patients.
  • Patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 will be expected to wear a mask

If you are asked to wear a mask, please respond politely and follow the instructions given by our staff. Patients, visitors and staff may choose to continue to wear masks according to personal preference or their individual risk assessment.
