Kingsway Surgery - Build Underway
Building work the new Kingsway Surgery is underway. An official turf cutting ceremony was held on 2nd November which was attended by a small gathering of representatives from Rosebank Health, the Patient Participation Group, NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group, EG Carters (prime contractor)and property advisers and architects GVA as well as local councillors.
It is anticipated that the new state of the art health building will take around 12 months to complete and open in autumn 2018
Rosebank participated in the Kingsway Polish Healthfest that was held on Saturday 7th October 2017 at Kingsway Community Centre. This was a free event for the Polish community organised by NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and Healthwatch Gloucestershire. Residents were able to find out about the local health and wellbeing services, speak to healthcare professionals, attend workshops and feedback on service experiences. Polish TV interviewed a number of the service providers to help promote what local services are available and how they can be accessed. Rosebank was represented by Drs Layzell and Quick, Nurse Partner Karen Rearie and Practice Manager Wyndham Parry. Apprentice Award Finalist
Congratulations Sam for reaching the finals of the Apprentice Awards 2017 Gloucestershire, held at Cheltenham Racecourse, where he was a finalist in the Financial & Business Services Apprentice category. On the night Sam won the competition to build the best model using a box of lego, he created an Apprentice Masscot click for photo.

If you are ill or injured and are not sure where to turn, you can download the ASAP mobile phone App (ASAP Glos NHS) from the App store or search the ASAP website. Alternatively, call NHS 111.
Urgent Care System
The practice ‘Urgent Care’ system - If a patient requires an urgent appointment, they can expect to be offered by reception an appointment time with the Nurse Practitioner or Doctor on duty at any of the following locations:
Rosebank Surgery, Severnvale Surgery, Gloucester Health Access Centre or Matson Lane Surgery
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN EMERGENCY SERVICE, THEREFORE PATIENTS MAY NOT BE SEEN AT THE EXACT TIME GIVEN TO YOU BY RECEPTION. PLEASE BE REASSURED THAT PATIENTS WILL BE SEEN THAT DAY.
